Gmail allows you to insert images in the body of the message

vendredi 14 mai 2010

Apparently, from now and only if you use Google Chrome as a browser, you can create a more colorful emails than usual. Why am I saying this? Indeed just because you can attach images directly in the text box courier service.

A few weeks ago, the
Gmail guys had already implemented the ability to add attachments without having to open the selection box and having to find, but it was just to add drag, saving us a little time when make e-mails.

With the new functionality, it may be much better when writing an email in which we can give it more body and inserting images directly is much more "beautiful" (yes we are going to do, he has left the vein corny). As we have said, but since Google Chrome is functional, but are already working on their compatibility is universal.

The truth is that this new functionality is going to thank more than one of us and every time you send an attachment from Gmail, pull, first you give the button to search, then search the folder where and returns to find the file that you inetresa, before giving "add".

So comfortable that that was already finished and simply need to drag and drop over the area is highlighted in green when they appear in the file. Once you let go, start loading the file.

Currently only works if you're working under Mozilla Firefox 3.6 or Google Chrome. I in my case, I've tested in Safari, and the new functionality does not work.

Google lets you know if you have intruders in your Gmail account

jeudi 25 mars 2010

Theft of mail accounts are quite common and the truth is that even if we find someone outside us is swarming our domains.

Google for its part is trying to increasingly less the accounts that are stolen and if it already had a section where we could see the activity of our own in recent sessions, whether by phone or a computer, now it will alert differently and more graphically, without you to be the need to go to the location of the tool.

From now on, Google will notify you with a message highlighted in the header of your account, where he also will inform you what part of the world are accessing. This function can be enabled or not, because the tool is that if you enter the account from a geographic area far from the usual, so if you're traveling, it is normal to skip the ad.

Google Is Working On Letting Users Link Their Gmail And Google Apps Accounts

lundi 15 mars 2010

Google does not waste time and not resting on its laurels. Not enough to be a leader in the Internet world, we must continue to improve. And that's precisely what is wanted now, specifically the Google mail service, GMail, which is used heavily throughout the world. For me it is the best provider of mail and leaves much to its jurisdiction.

During a panel at SXSW (which takes place in Austin, Texas) a team of experts said several points about GMail. One of the main concerns is the capability to link two accounts: a traditional account of GMail and Google Apps, since after all, both share the same heart so no surprise. What are the advantages? Well, the moment I homogenization occurs in terms of email addresses. The possibility of using a single e-mail but internally, being able to handle multiple inboxes, and that really would be great. It would be particularly useful in organizations and workplaces.

For example, you could use an account (alan@dominio.com) for personal matters, but both use the same address for labor matters. It is more practical to have all information under the same account, provided this is properly organized. This is not a new concept, as indeed happens in Google as well, many engineers are using cuenta@google.com for personal and work related things.

Currently we can
handle multiple GMail inboxes (activating the Gmail Labs option previously) with which you can see the potential of what GMail can do for us. I hope that this becomes reality in the near future, because it would be an enormous achievement.
