The news bomb today. Twitter has reached an agreement (financial of course) with the developer Loren Brichta and implementation has integrated ecosystem Tweetie its official application form (for iPhone and iPod Touch platform.) In fact, the application name change and will be renamed Twitter For iPhone with the aim to have consistency with the nomenclature of products.
Tweetie is a program available for iPhone and iPod Touch is sold on the App Store for $ 2.99 USD but from now on will be completely free. In the coming weeks is expected that the transition is complete, by which time applications like Twittelator Pro or Echofon will vie for the market users with premium customers.
Perhaps in the near future we see the official application for the IPAD Twitter, which would be logical because the SDK shares almost all the components in the iPhone. Regarding Mac Tweetie has not said anything so will probably continue as a standalone application.

Everyone knows this has been the evolution of Mac OS X since then, and if not, at TUAW have a specific gallery, and obvious that many changes and improvements made, has always maintained the spirit and basis of the original system, and that has remained unchanged even when the bowels of the Macs have changed, as when the buses were dispensed with Power PC and Intel opted for.
This only happens when a company not only knows what will happen in the future, but also has very clear ideas from the start and know where target the market, and if it were the case, which goes into force that direction.
The ratio of release of all versions of Mac OS X with cat names and dates, is as follows:
• Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah: March 24, 2001.
• Mac OS X 10.1 Puma: September 25, 2001.
• Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar: August 24, 2002.
• Mac OS X 10.3 Panther: October 24, 2003.

MSN Messenger 8 Beta Now Available for Mac
After just under 2 years, Microsoft finally has available 8 Beta version of its instant messenger for Mac OS X. The current version was released in April 2008. This is the first official release after another version was leaked a few days ago.
In principle, the first official beta of MSN Messenger, it seems quite stable. However, there are some features that are not yet functional. Among them, file transfer, audio and video chats for corporate accounts and audio and video calls in some network configurations.
According to Microsoft itself, the most important feature that is incorporated in this version is the audio and video chats and unfortunately we know nothing more. The specialist sites complain that Microsoft has done "very little" to this new version. We'll have to wait until the company releases the final version to know what all the new features.
